I'm looking for a cabbage stew recipe that I can eat as sort of a diet food. I'm not looking to eat it all day every day, but I want to pre make a lot of it and freeze it. My only real requierments are flavorful and cheap. I don't want it to have a ton of ingredients inside that I don't really have lying around the house. Help me out? 1head of cabbage chopped, chopped carrots, chopped onion.diced potatoes, celery chopped,2 lg. cans of stewed tomatoes. Add a package of beef stew seasoning and it will be flavorful and thicken or just season if you are looking for straight up veggies. Simmer in a lg pot for 2 hours. Be sure to cool all of the way before freezing.Can you give me a good easy cabbage stew recipe?
